Daniel MacIvor’s funny and touching play tells the story of three estranged sisters who reunite in their family home on Cape Breton Island to say goodbye to their dying mother. In the process, buried resentments are ignited and the sisters re-discover the bonds of family.
Colleen Byberg will play Agnes MacKeigan, an actress and waitress, who has been living a free-spirited life in Toronto, Amy Starkey plays Theresa, a nun working in a farming order in New Brunswick and Lauren A. Campbell will play Louise, the youngest sister who has stayed home to care for Mother. Congratulations to our cast and director!
Marion Bridge runs March 30 – April 15th at the Deep Cove Shaw Theatre, with one Saturday matinee on April 8th at 2PM, and one festival performance at Presentation House May 8th – 12th. Stay tuned for further production updates on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram: @DeepCoveStage
