Originally from Winnipeg, Maryth has been hooked on all forms of the performing arts from a young age.

Maryth studied theatre performance at the University of Winnipeg and The Banff Centre School of Fine Arts after which she moved to Vancouver where she obtained an Advanced Certificate in Directing from Capilano University.  Favourite directing experiences include The Legend of Sleepy HollowI Am Yours, High Life, the Canadian Premiere of Eric Bogosian’s SubUrbia and the site-specific Fringe Festival production FESTA!, the inspiration for Portuguese Buns Productions’ soon to be released sitcom pilot Tia Maria’s Cafe.  As a performer Maryth most recently appeared as Ms. Haviland in Wildwood Park, Helen Cooper in Night of the Living Dead and Diane Gillis in Sinners.  Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike is Maryth’s first project with Deep Cove Stage Society.  Enjoy!
