This is Wayne’s first appearance with Deep Cove Stage Society, and he extends his gratitude to Maryth for giving him this opportunity.

He has also performed locally with Vagabond Players (Lend Me a Tenor – nominee, Community Theatre Coalition Award, Best Supporting Actor), Theatre West Van (The 39 Steps) and Stage 43 (A Bench in the Sun).  Before retiring to New Westminster in 2013, Wayne appeared in over two dozen shows in his native Ottawa; favourite roles include Mortimer Brewster in Arsenic and Old Lace, Joseph in My Three Angels, Geoffrey in The Lion in Winter, Al Lewis in The Sunshine Boys and Man in Chair in The Drowsy Chaperone (nominee, Capital Critics Circle Award, Best Actor – Community).
His numerous directing credits include Nunsense, Wait Until Dark, You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown and On Golden Pond (Ottawa Little Theatre), The Marvelous Wonderettes (Footlight Theatre Company), The O’Conner Girls, Other Desert Cities and Forever Plaid (Vagabond Players) and The Lion in Winter (Stage 43).
