Mike Jarvis Memorial Scholarship

Mike Jarvis was a most unique and talented individual. Mike was a founder of the Deep Cove Shaw Theatre as well as a long serving and dedicated member of our theatre company, Deep Cove Stage Society (DCSS). His involvement spanned over 40 years, firstly as a brilliant actor, then a caring and creative director. For many years he was President of our Board. He helped shape the policies and procedures that continue to direct us today. His spirit and passion were infectious. So, it was with great sadness that we heard of his untimely passing in July, 2019. This scholarship is set up in his honour to keep alive his spirit and passion for DCSS. We hope each winner of the Mike Jarvis Memorial Scholarship will share his enthusiasm and joy of being involved in Community Theatre.
